The need

Transit data lives in silos, agencies, riders and operators each see only part of the picture. Cities needed one trustworthy platform that turns scattered feeds into clear, real‑time mobility everyone can rely on.

A connected ecosystem built on three principles: simplicity, transparency and trust. Validated real‑time feeds, a unified map across modes, and a fresh, confident visual identity that makes complex transit feel effortless.

Key decisions

One platform, three audiences
Riders, agencies and operators want different things from the same data. Designing a shared map and a common language across all three, instead of three separate products, was the decision that kept Transloc coherent as it scaled.
Trust through validated real‑time data
In transit, a wrong arrival time erodes trust instantly. We prioritised validated, real‑time feeds over feature breadth, and surfaced data confidence in the UI so people knew when to rely on a prediction.
Designing for the city, not just the screen
Transloc spans airports, campuses and municipal transit. Anchoring the system in real journeys, "why they'll ride", rather than abstract dashboards made the product resonate with operators and riders alike.
A confident, modern transit identity
Public transit branding often feels dated. A clean type system, bold orange accents and lifestyle photography repositioned Transloc as a forward‑looking mobility brand cities are proud to adopt.
